  • Are your qualifications recognized for employment in South Africa and internationally?
    Yes, our SETA and QCTO accredited qualifications are recognized in South Africa and are widely accepted by beauty industry employers. Some courses also prepare students for international certification exams, which can enhance employment opportunities globally.
  • How long do the courses take to complete?
    Course durations vary depending on the program: Short courses (e.g., nail technology, basic skincare): 3–6 months Diploma or full qualifications (e.g., beauty therapy, hairdressing): 12–24 months Occupational certificates (QCTO qualifications): Usually 1–2 years, including workplace-based learning We also offer flexible learning options, including part-time and full-time study.
  • What are the entry requirements for enrolling in a SETA or QCTO accredited beauty course?
    Entry requirements vary based on the course level: Short courses typically require Grade 10 or equivalent. Full qualifications (e.g., Beauty Therapist, Nail Technician) generally require Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Some QCTO courses may require workplace experience or prior training in beauty therapy. We also offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for experienced individuals who wish to gain formal certification.
  • What is the ITEC exam, and is it required for beauty professionals?
    The ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) exam is a globally recognized trade test that assesses a beauty professional’s practical and theoretical knowledge. Passing the ITEC exam allows beauty therapists, nail technicians, and hairdressers to work both locally and internationally. While SETA and QCTO-accredited courses provide nationally recognized qualifications, obtaining an ITEC certification can enhance employment opportunities worldwide. Some of our courses prepare students for ITEC exams to ensure they meet international industry standards.
  • Do you have other branches, and where are they located?
    Yes, we have multiple branches across South Africa. Our main campus is in Johannesburg South, Oakdene where our Head Office is also located, and we also have training centers in Pretoria, Lenasia and Carltonville.
